Stories of 101 martyrs and freedom fighters who laid their lives would be told at a unique exhibition.
On the occasion of 111th birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed-e-azam society is going to organize a cultural program on September 28 at Pyare Lal Bhawan auditorium in New Delhi.
The programme is called Zara Yaad Karo Qurbani. In the programme a special documentary will be shown and a unique photo exhibition of more than 101 martyrs who laid their lives for the freedom would be exhibited.
The photo exhibition aims to reveal many unknown facets of even unknown freedom fighters. Today we know about Bhagat Singh, Chandrasekhar Aazad, and Ram Prasad Bismil etc but there were more than 101 young legendary leaders who helped India get freedom.
There will also by a quiz competition to test the knowledge of freedom fighters.
Family members of the martyrs would share their views with the people about the sacrifice by their great ascendants.
Apart from exhibition there will be some cultural performance which will highlight the sacrifices made for India’s independence.
