UAE president calls for rain prayer

U.A.E President, Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has called for prayers for rain, or Salaat al Istisqaa, and performed in all mosques and musallahs across the country on Tuesday 7:30 AM.

Earlier, Shaikh Khalifa called on Muslims living in the country to pray to Allah for blessing the land with rain, in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be upon Him) to seek rain from Allah. 

He called for supplicating God to send rain, mercy and abundance upon the country and its people.
