Canadian pop star Justin Bieber was thrilled to have a Kerala Ayurvedic massage.
Youth icon and singer Justin Bieber is reported to have enjoyed the Kerala Ayurvedic massage given to him by special masseuse flown in from God’s Own Country to Mumbai during his India tour on Wednesday.
Sources said Bieber wanted a relaxing Ayurvedic massage with what he called a Yoga Casket, meaning Ayurvedic oils. He had put in this demand before the tour commenced.
The organisers got into the act and flew in a team from Kerala. The special relaxing massage is reported to have lasted just over an hour.
Care was taken to fly in the best trained hands.
The Canadian pop star and a heartthrob of millions of youngsters arrived in Mumbai at 1.30 am on Wednesday amidst tight security. He went straight to his hotel. Instead of crashing to sleep or complaining of jet lag, 23-year-old Bieber dashed off to South Mumbai to have a feel of the city.
Accompanied by an impregnable ring of security headed by Shera and a couple of his personal bodyguards, Bieber visited the Gateway of India at 4 am. He got off the car and enjoyed a stroll on the road, before returning to the hotel.
Shera is Salman Khan’s bodyguard and handles the security of various international artistes touring the country. He had earlier provided security for Michael Jackson, Peter Andre, Diana King and Keanu Reeves.
Bieber wanted to walk around the streets without security, but Shera strictly told him not to try such adventures in Mumbai as he would be mobbed.
After getting a feel of Mumbai, he took off for his performance on a chopper from Mahalaxmi Race Course to DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
Over 50,000 people attended the electrifying performance of the pop star. Bieber poured his heart out through his songs and his fans, mostly teens and youngsters, swooned.
When he came on to the stage and said “You guys are the coolest. Hope you are ready to have the best night,” the crowd went berserk with joy.
Bieber did not disappoint. He belted out his best numbers including `Where are you now?, No sense, Boyfriend, I will show you, Sorry’ and his all-time hit `Baby’.
