It took almost quarter of a century for a court to find Mustafa Dossa, Abu Salem, Firoz Khan, Karimullah Khan and Taher Merchant guilty of conspiracy in 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts case.

A Special Terrorism and Disruptive Activities Act (TADA) court pronounced its judgment on Friday against the gangsters.

The verdict is no surprise, but the time taken in the case is indeed very surprising. Or is it, considering the time taken by courts?

And there is more.  Judgment is still awaited on two others in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.

The terrorists are facing multiple charges which include criminal conspiracy, waging war against the Government of India and murder.

257 people died while 713 others were injured after a series of bomb blasts rocked Mumbai City on March 12, 1993. The prime conspirators in the case are believed to be underworld don Dawood Ibrahim along with Tiger Memon and his brother Yakub Memon.
