Karnataka Records 10,913 New COVID Cases

Bengaluru: For the third day in a row, Karnataka reported over 10k new Covid-19 cases Friday even as the state increased the testing to over a lakh.

With today’s tally of 10913, the active cases stood at 1,18,851 and the total caseload at 6,90,269. The state also recorded 114 deaths, taking the total to 9789.

Bengaluru reported nearly half the number of cases with 5009 people testing positive Friday. The city also recorded 57 deaths. Among the districts, Mysuru reported 826 cases while Chitradurga, Dakshina Kannada, Davanagere and Tumakuru recorded over 300 cases each.
