Jaya Was Killed, Says P H Pandian, Former TN Speaker

In a dramatic development, former speaker of Tamil Nadu Assembly P H Pandian said Jayalalithaa did not die a natural death and that Sasikala is unfit to be the Chief Minister of the State.

Jaya Was Killed, Says P H Pandian, Former TN SpeakerSasikala seems to be going through a tough time. First Governor Vidyasagar Rao has delayed her swearing in ceremony; now, former speaker and a founding member of the AIADMK, P H Pandian, has thrown a bombshell at Chinamma.

Addressing the media in Chennai, he said there are reports that somebody attacked Jaya in her house and this has to be probed. All probes on Jaya’s death must start from Sept 22 when she was rushed to hospital in the middle of the night.

In a scathing attack, he also said Sasikala is unfit to be either the party’s general secretary or the chief minister. He asked her to vacate Poes Garden as Jaya’s properties belong to the public. He wanted Poes Garden to be converted into a memorial for Jaya.

Pandian said Sasikala cannot become Chief Minister as her family controls the powerful liquor lobby in the state. People are bowing before her as they want power.

Pandian may be a spent force, but his outbursts would surely put Sasikala and the AIADMK in a tight spot.

His son Manoj Pandian, an ex-MP, also took on Sasikala questioning her sudden elevation as General Secretary.
