Rhea Chakraborty and family members’ phones to be examined by ED
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has so far questioned actress Riya Chakraborty for 18 hours in the case related to the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh. On the other hand, Riya’s brother Shouvik Chakraborty has been questioned for 22 hours so far. Sources say that Riya filed an income tax return stating that her income is around Rs 14 to 18 lakh, but her investment is much higher. Riya has told the investigating agency that she has invested in many places with her income and savings as well as taken a loan from the bank. SHe told that his father is retired and he gets one lakh rupees every month as pension.
According to sources, Rhea was asked some such questions:
First question: Where have you invested in the last two years?
Second question: what is the source of your income, show the paper related to it?
Third question: Where did you spend the money in your account from Sushant’s account, show the paper?
Fourth question: Where did all the sudden money in your two accounts come from?
Fifth question: do you know where Sushant has invested in the last two years?
Sixth question: Has Sushant named you or any member of your family while investing?
Seventh question: What work does the firm do in your and your brother’s name, where did his money come from?
Shouvik has been questioned for nearly 22 hours so far:
Shouvik has been questioned for 22 hours so far. Shouvik left the ED office at around 6.30 am Sunday after an overnight questioning. He was questioned about Saturday afternoon. Riya, the main accused in the case, was questioned for about eight hours on Friday. The ED also questioned Riya’s Chartered Accountant (CA) and Shruti Modi.
Meanwhile, Sushant’s sister Mitu Singh will also record her statement with the ED officials. She has been called to the office at 12 pm.
Sushant, who was found dead at his apartment in Mumbai on June 14, was in a relationship with Rhea. Sushant’s father has accused Rhea of abetment to suicide, besides other offences.
