Dinesh Gunawardena to become Prime Minister of Sri Lanka

Leader of The House Dinesh Gunawardena is scheduled to be sworn in as the New Prime Minister of Sri Lanka today (July 22) before President Ranil Wickremesinghe until the formation of an All-Party government President’s Media Unit has announced yesterday evening (July 21). The Prime Minister’s post has become vacant after the former Premier Ranil Wickremesinghe has been appointed as the President of Sri Lanka. 

After swearing in of the new Prime Minister, Current Cabinet of Ministers appointed by ex-president Gotabhaya Rajapakshe are scheduled to be sworn in before the President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
