TDP chief has accepted defeat and has decided to resign.
Amaravathi: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will submit his resignation to the Governor soon.
In a massive blow to Naidu, his Telugu Desam has been voted out of power in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
Leads coming in from all the 175 seats show that the Jaganmohan Reddy’s YSRCP is leading in 145 seats and the TDP far behind in 29 seats.
The YSRCP camp is reportedly already discussing finalising dates for Jagan Mohan Reddy’s swearing-in as the new Andhra chief minister. Sources told News18 that the party is holding a legislature party meeting on May 25, while Jagan’s swearing-in is likely to happen on May 30.
