Bahubali 2 The Conclusion Lives Beyond Its Expectations

2052

Bahubali 2 The Conclusion has lived upto its expectations and gone beyond exploring new realms in visual extravaganza.

Baahubali 2 The Conclusion Lives Beyond Its ExpectationsBahubali is back. This time, the muscled hero and his valour spread across a much lavish canvas, roared into theatres in India at an unearthly hour of 4 am. But that was not the talking point. In Bahubali 2 The Conclusion, there are two talking points: Why did the fiercely loyal Katappa kill Baahubali? Secondly, the visual extravaganza served by SS Rajamouli.

I shall not answer the first question and steal the suspense from you. You have to experience the scene, its pathos, its reasoning and its moments of silence and breathlessness.

You have to also experience the make-believe visual treat that has the Rajamouli stamp all over. The scale of grandeur has just pushed Baahubali The Beginning a notch behind.

Baahubali 2 The Conclusion Lives Beyond Its ExpectationsThe film is no doubt a visual feast, but the cream is also in the cocktail of emotions. If the first part was a starter, the second is a full course meal.

The film starts with all the sequences from the first part in beautiful graphical representations. But believe me, by the end of the first half an hour, you will be transported into the Mahishmati Kingdom. Rajamouli has taken care to ensure that every single person in the audience gets involved in the epic journey.

The second part is packed with emotions, drama and velvet gift-wrapped in grandeur. Rajamouli has been successful in getting the best performance from each and every artiste.

Prabhas has dedicated four years only for this film and he really comes out with brilliant performance as Amarendra Baahubali. The female Baahubalis of this film — Ramya Krishna and Anushka – on many occasions — have stolen the thunder from the most talked about character Katappa.

Baahubali 2 The Conclusion Lives Beyond Its ExpectationsRana Daggubati has played a marvellous role towering with venom and lava spewing volcanic anger. But it is Peter Hein’s action that keeps your spirits soaring and makes you glued to your seat.

MM Keeravani’s background score has added spiciness to the scenes. Senthil’s cinematography is outstanding compared to the first part.

With all these, you have those elevation scenes, goose-bump moments and trademark special effects of Rajamouli. Baahubali 2 is more an epic than a film.

Lot of credit should be given to VFX team. Every single graphic frame in the film will give you real impact. But Rajamouli deserves the credit for it. You may have a sword in your hand but you should know how to use it. That’s what he knew perfectly.

Note: Don’t miss the interval part.

So, if you want to watch the epic go to the nearby theatres and experience it. No Piracy.

My Rating: 4.75/5
