Government is making special preparations for the Corona vaccination campaign

On the condition of coronavirus, Rajesh Bhushan, secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, told the press conference on Tuesday that the total corona cases per 10 lakh population are the lowest in India. In India, where this number is 7,178 per million, the world average is 9,000 cases.

He said that preparations for vaccination of Corona said that 29,000 cold chain points, 240 walk-in coolers, 70 walk-in freezers, 45,000 ice-free refrigerators, 41,000 deep freezers and 300 solar refrigerators would be used and sent all this to the state governments.

Rajesh Bhushan said that the unfolding of adverse cases after vaccination is a serious matter, when we are running a universal vaccination program, then some adverse results can be seen, it can be seen in pregnant women and children.

He said, “Therefore when the vaccination of Covid-19 starts, we cannot rule out the possibility of an adverse event. In countries where vaccination has started, especially in Britain, there have been opposite cases from day one. Therefore, it is important that states and union territories should also be ready for this. ”

At this press conference NITI Aayog member (Health) Doctor V.K. Paul said that this week the Drugs Controller General of India has given permission for clinical trial of another vaccine in India.

He told that the Genoa company is making the vaccine with the help of Department of Biotechnology, the research agency of the Government of India, at present, clinical trials of six vaccines are going on in the country.
