As part of the 74th Independence day celebrations, Army Band of Pioneer Corps Training Centre, Bengaluru performed at Tipu Sultan‘s Summer Palace in Bengaluru today. The performance is part of the Nationwide celebrations of the Independence day at Historically important locations in various cities.

COVID WARRIORS HONOURED

The army band from Pioneer Corps Training Centre, Bengaluru performed Patriotic songs and martial tunes to a special audience of 25 Corona warriors from various fields including pourakarmikas, doctors and lab technicians. This Is to honour & appreciate the efforts of the Corona warriors in their fight against the Pandemic, and as a gesture of thanks.

Tipu’s summer palace, located in the centre of Bengaluru was built by Tipu Sultan in 1791.

Although the construction was started by his father Hyder Ali in 1781. It is situated in the fort walls of Bengaluru.
