The Quantico actress will be tying the knot with American singer Nick Jonas on December 2.
If you think you have too much to do with a little time on your hands, then you must take notes from Priyanka Chopra on time management.
Be its celebrating Thanksgiving with her hubby-to-be, or shopping for her wedding or completing shooting schedules, she is acting like a pro at multitasking and now reports suggest that the actress will be working until the day before her grand wedding functions kickoff.
Along with ticking off her wedding checklist, she is busy wrapping her schedules for the film The Sky Is Pink. With so much to do, PeeCee isn’t wasting any time.
The 36-year-old actress came to India to resume shooting the film after enjoying a bridal shower in New York and then a bachelorette party in Amsterdam and Italy and immediately after finishing her film’s Delhi schedule, she flew off to Paris to buy footwear for the big day.
The Quantico actress will be tying the knot with American singer Nick Jonas, at Umaid Bhawan, Jodhpur on December 2 while the wedding festivities will begin on November 30. The power couple that had a traditional ‘roka’ ceremony in August, is then expected to host two receptions – one in Delhi, and the other in Mumbai.
Priyanka is also a co-producer of the film and probably that’s why she can’t afford to delay the project. She had earlier created quite a buzz when she opted out of Salman Khan-starrer Bharat, owing to her impending marriage. It was then speculated that she would also drop out of The Sky Is Pink as an actor.
However, Sidharth Roy Kapur, her co-producer, clarified that her decisions on both the films were independent of each other and the shooting dates of their film were scheduled keeping her wedding in mind.
Roy also praised the actress for her sheer commitment, energy, and professionalism. “Priyanka probably has 72 hours in a day. Priyanka is shooting the film till the eve of her wedding functions, which shows what a thorough professional she is,” Roy reportedly said even though he remained tight-lipped on whether he will attend her wedding or not.
The Sky Is Pink, directed by Shonali Bose, also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
The next schedules of the film will be shot in Mumbai, and then a few days in the Andamans between December and January. It is expected to hit screens in mid-2019.
